Meet our new Brand ambassador!
Bringing elite care standards and practical insight to Welsh-made bedding and forage, Gower Granary is delighted to welcome Emma Cornish, an award winning groom and leading equine professional, as an official ambassador for its range of sustainable equine bedding and forage.
With over 30 years of experience in equine care, veterinary support and event-based welfare management, Emma brings to the role an exceptional breadth of knowledge and a deep commitment to horse welfare. Her work has included support roles at some of the world’s most prestigious competitions, including the Olympics, World Equestrian Games and 5* events, where she has been involved in stable management, thermoregulation and equine wellbeing services.
“I’m incredibly proud to be working with Gower Granary,” says Emma. “Their products do exactly what they say, they’re clean, natural, sustainable and supportive of equine health. But more than that, they represent the kind of values we should all be getting behind; local farming, sustainable practices, and genuine care for horses. It’s a perfect fit.”
Emma’s business, Elite Equine Care, is trusted by clients across the UK and internationally, providing everything from rehabilitation support and professional grooming to yard management and end-of-life care. In 2023, she was named Groom of the Year at the Equestrian Business Awards, in recognition of her exceptional service and contribution to the industry.
As a Registered Member of the British Grooms Association and a panel expert for Animalweb, Emma is also a vocal advocate for equine welfare, supporting education and mentorship within the industry.
Louisa Harry Thomas, Operations Manager of Gower Granary, says: “Emma’s knowledge and integrity speak for themselves. She’s a true professional with horse welfare at her core, and we’re honoured to have her represent Gower Granary. Whether she’s supporting global competitions or local clients, she brings the same care and attention, and that mirrors what we aim to do with our products.”
Gower Granary’s range of chopped wheat and rape straw bedding is double-dusted for respiratory health and made from British-grown crops. Its haylage and grass chops are produced on pastures that support biodiversity, grown on the family’s farm on the Gower coast.
As an ambassador, Emma will be showcasing the products she uses in her daily work and helping to share practical, welfare-first guidance with the wider equestrian community. From international events to private yards, her voice will help reinforce the importance of good care, sustainable choices and supporting local producers.
